Oil immersed transformer for new energy
New energy dedicated oil immersed transformers are different from conventional power transformers in that they need to address the effects of overload, harmonic current and voltage, high-frequency transient overvoltage and undervoltage during operation. The design and production of transformers will focus on overload, harmonic resistance, and overvoltage. The high and low voltage windings are made of copper wire (foil) and use AFA with high electrical and mechanical strength as the main insulation material.
After drying and curing, the coil does not deform and has high strength. The low magnetic density value of the iron core has sufficient anti saturation margin. High and low voltage are often arranged with side outgoing lines, and are reasonably connected to the high and low voltage chambers of the transformer box. Transformers have comprehensive protection, including temperature protection, pressure protection, gas protection, oil level protection, etc.
