Split rectifier transformer is a special structure transformer consisting of multiple low-voltage windings and high-voltage windings, designed to split axially or radially. The high-voltage winding is led out through multiple branches in parallel, and each low-voltage winding is led out separately. Several branches of the low-voltage winding can operate separately or simultaneously. When the rated voltage of several branches is the same, they can also be used in parallel. The several branches of the split winding have no electrical connection but only magnetic connection, which can effectively limit the short-circuit current on the low voltage side.
